An audience with neuro rehabilitation experts

QEF has hosted a series of virtual events since December 2020 with expert guest speakers and QEF specialists, discussing the latest developments in neuro rehabilitation therapies and how COVID-19 has impacted the delivery of holistic, client-centred therapy and care.  

On 23rd March 2021, the first anniversary of lockdown in the UK, Professor Stephen Powis, National Medical Director of NHS England and Dr. Yvonne Doyle, Medical Director and Director of Health Protection for Public Health England, joined QEF's Director of Operations, Rita Asamoah, for QEF's latest Audience With ... event, providing fascinating insights into their roles during the pandemic and the importance of working together. 

Listen as they discuss QEF's COVID response, the impact of the pandemic on the NHS, and the importance of partnerships with quality providers such as QEF. As well as Public Health England's role during the pandemic and how their guidance was adapted to people of vulnerability,

This content was delivered as part of the Neuro Education Clinic webisode 'Rehabilitation in the wake of COVID-19' on 29th January 2021.
