To be able to deliver assessments and treatments as required to QEF clients at two sites: -

At the Care and Rehabilitation Centre (CRC) in Leatherhead, to support the OT department in delivery of OT assessment and treatment for clients with acquired neurological injury.

At Independent Living Services in Leatherhead, to assess and review postural management for all residents, including shower chair, slings and wheelchair requirements and to produce an appropriate wheelchair passport.


This is a new and exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to work across two different services provided at QEF to deliver a variety of assessments and treatment.  Working alongside multi-disciplinary teams in client centred environments you will be able to apply your skills and knowledge to support existing clients in addition to identifying cross-service development possibilities to further enhance our service provision.

We are excited to be growing our neuro-rehabilitation therapy team based in Leatherhead, Surrey.   We moved into our new 48 bed Centre in July 2020 and now have the opportunity to support more people experiencing disability. You will be part of an organisation with a rich history that is developing into the future.

We have a friendly and experienced rehabilitation team including support workers, nurses, physio’s, speech and language therapists and clinical psychologists.

All therapy staff at CRC participate in the key therapist/worker program for clients.

At ILS, you will be part of a small therapy team and working closely with the dedicated and enthusiastic wider team that is looking to update and enhance the environment and opportunities for residents with complex disability 

Your personal development will be supported with supervision, reflective practice, in-house training and CPD opportunities.

This role is subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks which will include an Enhanced with adults barred list check DBS (at the cost of QEF if you are not already a member of The Update Service).

You hold a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy and up to date HCPC registration

You are a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapy and work within the scope of your professional guidelines

You have post graduate experience and knowledge of a range of appropriate therapeutic interventions in the treatment and management of clients requiring physical and neuro rehabilitation and/or physical and learning difficulties.

You have relevant experience in physical management of people following a neurological event

You have evidence of relevant post graduate courses, CPD and an up-to-date professional portfolio
