Simone McIntyre Presents the BBC Radio 4 Appeal

QEF would like to let our supporters and friends of the charity know about the BBC Radio 4 Appeal that is being launched to raise funds to allow MERU, a member of the QEF Family of Charities, build more Bugzis.

QEF was asked by the the All England Lawn Tennis Club at Wimbledon to assess accessibility for wheelchair users at this year's Wimbledon tennis championships.

Clients from QEF's Neuro Rehabilitation Service at Banstead were accompanied by QEF's Property Manager Alvin Allison, to check that all was well in terms of accessibility and provisions for disabled people.

After checking that all was well and carrying out a survey amongst other wheelchair users, it was also essential to check that the day's tennis was on the ball. What an ace day!

Welcome indeed! You may already be familiar with our Get Involved site where you can find out the many ways to support our work. However this new QEF site is about who we are and what we do. It tells you about our main services: Independent Living, Neuro Rehabilitation and Mobility, invaluable to those who might want to use them, and links to our family of charities' websites: MERU, VASD and Sutton Shopmobility.
