These are challenging times for everyone and our priority at the moment is the health of our staff and clients – especially those in our residential services. We are working hard to ensure we continue to provide safe care for every resident that relies on our care and support.
We are also doing everything we can to minimise the impact and reduce the spread of COVID-19. Importantly our residential services are now closed to all visitors, as many people there are considered vulnerable. We are keeping families updated as the situation changes and doing all we can to protect everyone in the services.
There has already been a considerable impact on our ability to raise money to support the important work of the charity, with our flagship fundraising event postponed and many other challenge events delayed. A massive thank you to everyone that was involved with these events and worked or trained so hard to make them a success. We will be doing our very best to reschedule as much as possible and we will try hard to raise vital funds later in the year, so please stay connected with us on social media and look out for new activities.
On a wider note, now is the time to reach out and support the most vulnerable in our community and help where we can. Acts of kindness will mean a great deal over the coming months.
Please look after yourself and your loved ones and thank you for your ongoing support for our work.
