Volunteers are the absolute lifeblood of our work at QEF. We couldn't do all we do without our volunteers. Find out more about getting involved.

We're taking the opportunity to celebrate this year’s Volunteer Week to hold open days where you can find our more about the benefits that volunteering can bring, both to you and to us!

The sessions will explain what kinds of volunteer work is available, the benefits that the funds raised bring to the people that QEF supports, and there will be current volunteers on hand who will be happy to chat about their experience helping out in the community in this way.

Hazel Drye, QEF’s volunteer coordinator said: “Volunteer Week is an amazing idea that gives us the chance to thank all our hardworking and remarkable volunteers for their time, commitment and hard work in helping us keep our services operating.

“There are so many different types of volunteering that anyone can do. From working in our shops and keeping the window displays looking great and the tills ringing, to gardening and maintenance at the centres where our clients receive neuro rehabilitation or prepare to live independently, and even office based admin roles at our Mobility Centre or head office. We are so grateful for all of the work that our volunteers do and couldn’t help so many people with disabilities and their families without them.”
