Do you enjoy gardening and can spare some of your valuable time to help our clients enjoy their gardens? If so, we are looking for you!
About the role
Help us maintain the gardens at our Care & Rehabilitation Centre in Leatherhead. Our clients really appreciate the grounds being accessible and lovely to look at. Being outside is beneficial for all our wellbeing, particularly for our clients and their families during their time at the rehabilitation centre.
Any gardener will know that the chores are varied, from weeding, pruning, planting, mowing and much more. So, if you are green fingered and enjoy being in the great outdoors, then this is the volunteering role for you. We offer flexibility and an opportunity to utilise any spare time you have in a beneficial way.
What skills will you need?
You don’t need any particular experience, just a love of the outdoors and a willingness to help out in any way you can.
If you belong to a group, have friends with local allotments or work in a local garden centre and would like to volunteer as a group, that would be fantastic too.
Time commitment
We are grateful for any time you have to offer, whether that’s twice a week or once a month, and would love to hear from you.
