MERU (Mechanical Engineering Resource Unit) – Aims to improve the lives of disabled people and young people through the loan or design of bespoke equipment. Our products offer children the opportunity to learn and interact with their environment and our vision is to see all disabled children, young people and their families living life to its full potential.
We are looking for a volunteer to design and update in- house leaflets, posters and instructions for products using adobe in-design and/or adobe illustrator.
We need a volunteer to help pick and pack orders. The role does not involve any heavy lifting but accuracy and attention to detail are crucial.
Orders are computer generated, picked, packed, weighed and then dispatched. It requires very basic computer skills and full training is given.
Based in Epsom, MERU is a Charity that strives to improve the lives of children and young people with disabilities.
By designing and manufacturing custom made specialist equipment to help with communication, mobility, learning and enjoyment, MERU is often the last port of call when no other readymade solution exists.
