Our neuro rehab in Banstead is looking for volunteers to support our therapy and activity departments to facilitate more one to one time and variety for our Clients.
Our Clients have had a brain injury or a spinal cord injury. This could result in them having physical difficulties or needing a wheelchair. Some Clients with a brain injury also have changes to their cognitive abilities such as memory and problem solving. Other people have difficulty communicating and understanding.
QEF is looking for a volunteer to assist with general housekeeping duties at their acquired brain injury centre in Banstead.
The duties involve everyday household chores, such as hoovering, dusting, mopping and general tidying up.
If you have a few hours to spare on a weekday morning and would like to join our friendly housekeeping team, please get in touch.
No formal experience is necessary.
This role is based on the front desk at QEF’s Neuro Rehabilitation Service in Banstead.
You will be the first point of contact for anyone visiting or contacting us by phone, so requires someone who enjoys working with people and has a warm and helpful approach.
The role will also involve filing and shredding documents, maintaining stationary supplies and other ad hoc admin duties.
