We are pleased to announce that we are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our existing IT team. 

This role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to develop their IT support skills, in addition to working on a multi-site basis.   Working across QEF and its family of charities, you will be able to meet all our staff, gain experience of working with a variety of IT systems, and have the professional satisfaction of make a direct contribution to the work we do to support disabled people achieve their goals for life.

There will also be great opportunities for learning and development as we further improve our IT services, implement new systems and work towards moving to a more cloud-based environment.

About the role

  • Responsible for the provision of efficient and timely IT support to colleagues at all locations of QEF.
  • Works to monitor and maintain services and systems and resolve or escalate issues as appropriate. 
  • Participates in IT projects and assists with other tasks.

About you

  • You will have an industry qualification showing commitment and understanding of the technologies in use Microsoft OS, Server, O365 applications and administration. Cisco/Meraki switches. Avaya Telephony, Microsoft Azure and exposure to EPOS would be an advantage but not essential.
  • You are able to work as part of a team and manage self
  • You know how to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in agreement with your line manager and the internal IT service level agreement
  • You will hold a Driving Licence and have the ability to travel across locations in Surrey/Outer London

This role is subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks which will include a DBS (at the cost of QEF if you are not already a member of The Update Service).
