QEF’s Care and Rehabilitation Centre is a Level 2B Community Neuro Rehabilitation Centre, providing intensive and slow stream neuro rehabilitation and complex neurological care for up to 48 resident clients.
Our expert teams support people to regain core skills following an acquired brain injury, stroke or incomplete spinal injury. We also support people with long term neurological conditions to optimise their potential, manage a disability and prevent secondary complications.
Referrals are through the NHS, case managers or personal injury solicitors, and we support adults with physical, cognitive and/or communication disabilities which may also include mild to moderate behavioural problems.
An assessment is followed by a structured therapy programme that focuses on a person’s identified needs. We provide neuro rehabilitation for adults with physical, cognitive and/or communication disabilities which may also include mild to moderate behavioural problems.
We work closely with families and everyone involved with an individual’s long-term rehabilitation, helping them with the transition out of our service. Our services are also available on a day and outpatient basis.
