The Surrey County Council’s Chairman’s Charity Ball was held on 24th September, at Sandown Park, and all proceeds raised were kindly donated to QEF. SCC’s Chairman, Geoff Marlow, chose QEF because he was so impressed with QEF’s work; enabling and supporting disabled people, helping to increase their independence and improve their life skills.
The Charity Ball was themed around 1930′s Vintage Glamour – the era of QEF’s birth. The stylish black-tie event opened with a drinks reception, followed by dinner, live and silent auctions, raffle and a casino. A fun night was had by all and guests danced the night away to the Paul Sykes Big Band, who recreated the sounds and atmosphere of the 1930′s.
