Neuro Rehabilitation Services

QEF is a leader in acquired brain injury rehabilitation with particular expertise in supporting younger adults. We specialise in combining therapy with vocational programmes.

Future Planning & Transition

Alongside our specialist therapies (physiotherapy, psychology, speech & language and occupational) we offer educational and vocational support.

We focus on the life plans and future opportunities for our clients, empowering them to consider and explore vocational options and to take into account their strengths, interests and difficulties. This may mean re-adjusting plans or letting go of unrealistic expectations to achieve a positive outcome.

The Vocational Department provides independent and group sessions including:

  • Vocational Studies
  • Group Projects
  • Workplace Study Group
  • Future Planning
  • Job/College/Training Search
  • Work Experience Placements (where appropriate)
  • We also facilitate external vocational courses and skills such as driving lessons.

Educational opportunities

For clients wishing to continue studies interrupted by their injury, or to enhance their future prospects, we offer the opportunity to acquire accredited qualifications such as Adult Literacy and Numeracy, CLAiT and Sports Leadership. All these courses are delivered by qualified teachers who are part of our permanent staff team.
