Driving for Disabled People

Disabled driving assessment and instruction

If you are disabled, driving can seem a daunting prospect. QEF Mobility Services are specialists in all aspects of driving for disabled people. Disabled driving assessments, instruction and very often life-changing breakthroughs are all provided here at QEF.

We have a wide variety of specially adapted dual-controlled cars fitted with hand controls and left foot accelerators, swivel seat and hi-tech vehicles that can be driven from a wheelchair, and we offer driving tuition for learner drivers as well as refresher courses. Our service is fully equipped to facilitate driving for disabled people and provide adaptations accordingly.

If you have a medical condition such as epilepsy, strokes and other neurological conditions, psychological difficulties, physical disabilities and visual impairments, we can assess and advise you on disabled driving training and adaptations. By specializing in driving for disabled people, we cover a wide variety of disabled driving conditions, which may also include deafness, recovery from a brain injury, adapting to a stroke or conditions such as multiple sclerosis or cerebral palsy.

If you are considering your options for driving, why not get in touch with us.  You will be impressed by the technology and know-how that we are able to draw on.  We will be happy to talk you through our services and show you around.
