Our Services

QEF has created opportunities and support for disabled adults from across the UK by providing expert development, assessment and rehabilitation services. Some of our services provide residential care for disabled people to give them the support, care and focus that makes QEF so unique.

These services, delivered through our three specialist departments, offer the right combination of individual care and support to enable these people to become as independent as their disability permits and to establish their own lifestyles.

QEF helps people with complex disabilities to acquire key life skills and greater independence. Our unique transitional service enables people to set and achieve their own goals.

QEF offers practical advice, assessment and training for those wishing to drive or increase their mobility through assistive technology, personal mobility vehicles and adapted cars.

QEF is a leader in acquired brain injury rehabilitation with particular expertise in supporting younger adults. We specialise in combining therapy with community or residential vocational programmes.

We are sorry to say that this Service closed on 31 August 2015 at the end of its Department of Work and Pensions’ contract. Unfortunately QEF did not fully fit the new DWP requirements for a national provision in spite of our outstanding success with those who were generally regarded as hardest to help. We remain hopeful that the new arrangements will help disabled people receive the support they need. Please consult your local Jobcentre Plus for further information.
