Annual Open Meeting 2012

Rob Douglas CBE

Around 80 people attended the QEF Annual Open Meeting conducted in Pereira Hall at Leatherhead Court on 18 July.  Local dignitaries, trustees , supporters and some senior staff attended to hear from QEF Chairman Rob Douglas CBE and Chief Executive Jonathan Powell.  The message was clear.  We have faced some extreme tests through this last year but perserverance, flexibility and application by all staff has been exceptional.  The strategic vision for growth has been implimented with the arrival of the Voluntary Association for Surrey Disabled (VASD) , who have moved to Leatherhead Court from Dorking, Epsom based MERU and Sutton Shopmobility.  Presentations were made by Gary Thomas (QEF Head of Retail), Susan Brumpton (MERU Chief Executive) and Amanda Beck (Centre Manager) on each of the organisations and how they fit with QEF’s vision.

Our QEF Annual Review 2011-2012 was distributed at the meeting and if you would like to read it, please click on the link.
