The Ladies Spring Lunch 2012 takes place on Wednesday 28 March 2012 at Epsom Downs Racecourse.

Tickets are only £42.50 each and the usual feast of shopping will be available

Arlene Phillips created the dance group Hot Gossip and went on to become a world-renowned choreographer for theatre, film, pop concerts, music videos and adverts, winning countless awards for her choreography of hit West End and Broadway shows such as Starlight Express, Flashdance, Grease, We Will Rock You and Saturday Night Fever. She was a judge on the BBC’s hit show Strictly Come Dancing for 6 series and in 2001 was awarded an OBE for services to dance. She recently choreographed the hit The Wizard of Oz musical and was a judge of BBC1’s So You Think You Can Dance.

This 46th Guinness and Oyster Luncheon took place on Thursday 24 November 2011 - Thanksgiving - kindly sponsored by Diageo and co-sponsored by Oracle, and held at its traditional venue – the stunning Mansion House.

All proceeds raised are in aid of QEF.

Bill Turnbull, who needs little introduction is currently BBC Breakfast presenter and amateur beekeeper, previously Strictly Come Dancing participant and BBC Washington correspondent.

His first book, The Bad Beekeepers Club, was recently published and will be available for sale and signature at the lunch.  A large percentage of the sales will be donated to QEF by the publishers.

Ladies Spring Lunch a Sell-out Success

The Ladies Spring Lunch on 6 April was a complete sell out. 


Guest speaker Mary Berry was a real hit, with signed copies of her book going like the proverbial hot cakes and an audience eager for her exemplary baking tips.

With more stalls than ever, shopping was a real delight.

Tartan Ball at Woodlands Park Hotel a great success

On 21st January, to celebrate Burns Night, Woodlands Park Hotel hosted their renowned annual charity Tartan Ball. 

More than 100 guests enjoyed a Champagne reception, four-course dinner, charity raffle and auction, followed by live music and dancing.  A wonderful, fun night was had by all.

All proceeds raised were kindly donated to QEF.
